What type of personal information may be collected?

Wild Mountain Thyme will only collect information that is necessary to provide a quotation and or fulfil your order. The personal information we may require includes; names, correspondence address, telephone number, email address and wedding details.

How is the personal information collected?

To provide a quotation or to process an order, we require our clients to complete an online form which is sent directly to our inbox. We only request information that is needed for us to process your request.

How is the personal information used?

​

Personal information is used to create your wedding stationery. We may also take photographs of your wedding stationery as a means to showcase our collections. These may be shared on our website, social media sites and at wedding shows. The details shown would contain names and wedding details only.  However we will write to you via email to obtain your consent before doing so.

How is the personal information shared?

​

Personal information will only be shared with our external printers for the purposes of printing your wedding stationery. Our external printers operate their own strict privacy policy and therefore any information shared will remain confidential and for the purpose of printing your wedding stationery only. We will not share personal information with any other third party.

How is the personal information stored?

​

All personal information is securely stored for a period of 6 months. After 6 months we securely dispose all personal information held with the exception of invoices. We are legally obliged by HMRC to retain all financial documentation for a period of up to 6 years. After 6 years we will securely dispose of these invoices. Electronically stored data will be securely deleted to the point it is unretrievable and physically stored data will be confidentially shredded.

What are the data protection rights for your clients?

In compliance with UK data protection laws, our clients have the right to access and rectify any personal information we hold. Our clients also hold the right to withdraw consent to their information being used where previous consent has been given to us. To exercise these rights, we ask our clients to contact us directly at hello@wmtscottishstationer.com where we will endeavor to respond within 5 working days.
